One memory of FRP is undoubtedly the unforgettable summer party held at my house in September 2021. It was an event that truly highlighted a sense of community within the company.
I fondly remember the wonderful sense of togetherness that day, with staff, their families, and even dogs all joining in the celebration. The event provided a deeper insight into everyone’s personal lives and was a great chance for the team to connect with each other outside of work.
The party turned out to be more than just a chance for people to unwind—it was an eye-opening experience that revealed hidden talents and interests among colleagues. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that Helen had a beautiful singing voice, and that Nathan was incredibly talented at playing the guitar.
We had organised an impressive range of activities at the party, including food stalls, inflatable games, a bouncy castle, sumo wrestling, and horse rides, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy. Whilst Kent was busy teaching archery and getting us all in the competitive spirit, Joe was serving his famous Rusty Krab Rum in his tuk tuk bar – a very popular attraction!
The entertainment also went above and beyond expectations. A live band performance by a former colleague added to the festivities, and when Nathan and Helen joined in, it made for an even more memorable experience. The party continued well into the night, with the fun and laughter lasting until 4am!
Reflecting on that night, I’m filled with pride and joy, knowing that the party hosted helped bring the team closer together and created lasting memories. It was an event that perfectly captured the spirit of FRP—fun, family, and connection. I am already looking forward to hosting another summer party this year, eager to create even more unforgettable moments with our FRP family.
