“25 Stories For 25 Years” Nicole: My proudest accomplishment at FRP

September 8, 2025

One of the proudest moments of my time at FRP has to be getting the Progress Plus system up and running across the company.

We first discovered the system back in 2021, but it wasn’t until 2023 that I really got stuck into gathering the necessary information and understanding how it could work for us. By April 2024, I had begun rolling it out and training staff across the business on how to use it effectively. That part of the journey alone was incredibly rewarding – seeing people engage with the new system, helping them build confidence using it, and knowing that it was going to make a real difference to how we work.

What makes this accomplishment particularly special for me is how quickly we were able to get it fully set up. Within just 18 months, we went from initial scoping to a fully operational system – something that others had struggled to achieve in the past due to the complexity and time demands. I was fortunate to be able to dedicate focused time to the project, and worked through the intricacies to ensure it was right for FRP.

Our very first project on Progress Plus went live on the 8th of July 2024, and I remember feeling genuinely proud seeing it come to life. It was a tangible sign that all the effort had been worth it – and even better, it was just the beginning. We now have over 700 projects on the system, and counting!

Of course, it hasn’t all been plain sailing – as with any major system, new challenges emerged as we began to use it more widely. But I’ve continued to improve and evolve the system to suit our needs, always looking for ways to simplify processes and make FRP even more streamlined.

This journey has been one of continuous learning, perseverance, and collaboration – and I’m incredibly proud to have played such a central role in driving it forward.
