FRP takes Full Service Rapid Manufacturing (FSRM) on the Road

March 20, 2018

An effective way of demonstrating our FSRM solutions is to exhibit at European events; that means getting the FRP team out on the road.

In recent months we’ve hosted a stand at two major medical events:

  • The Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL) Conference in Edinburgh is an event focused on the specialised area of pulmonary and nasal drug delivery.
  • Pharmapack 2018 in Paris is Europe’s dedicated drug delivery and packaging event.

FRP has expertise in producing fully compliant injection mouldings for medical devices and we enjoyed the opportunity to directly engage with potential customers. With prototypes, demonstrations and informed materials advice, we were able to showcase an extensive range of FSRM options.

Our component solutions range from the best of 3D printing, through to high precision medical injection moulded parts and even cleanroom device assembly. No matter what the process, we demand a high quality finish to ensure parts are suitable for clinical trials and pre-production supply.

As always our iconic Smash Proof FRP Pint Glass proved a real hit with Customers – moulded in medical grade Tritan™ from Eastman polymers it is a classic ‘glass replacement’ case study.

By working with us from the early design stages, our existing pharmaceutical partners have been able to launch optimised devices faster than their competition. Following the events, we look forward to supporting further innovations in the highly regulated world of drug delivery.
